It seems as though Hong Kong has got beef. Literally. The next standalone restaurant to be opened by the Swire Hotels group will be a steakhouse, located over three floors in the recently launched Taikoo Place Apartments in Quarry Bay. It joins other recent openings in the city that are looking increasingly towards proteins, from the Butcher’s Club’s Steak Frites to Akrame Benallal’s Atelier Vivanda.

The Hong Kong-based Charlie & Rose have designed the space, which seats 250 and features a craft beer bar on street level, a raw bar and main steakhouse on the first floor, and a private dining space with a terrace on the top.

The chef in charge here will be Joey Sergentakis, previously the chef de cuisine at Café Gray Deluxe.

Mr & Mrs Fox will open this September 2015
