The new discreet mixology haven is now serving Internationally inspired cocktails created by resident bar manager Derek Tsui

When local restaurant group Ming Fat House opened Foxglove, it introduced a brand new narrative by way of the fictional Frank Minza, a virtual globetrotting character. The jazz-venue and cocktail bar is launching a new speakeasy bar within Foxglove. The new space, titled Frank’s Library, is a secret alcove library that serves premium spirits and fresh ingredients as well barrel-aged concoctions available in single or sharing portions.

Taking the helm as bar manager of Frank’s Library is local mixologist Derek Tsui, whose previous tenure covered cocktail lounges from Bitters & Sweets to 8 ½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana as the bar captain. With five years of experience working in the mixology circle, Tsui has honed and polished his skills as the bar manager of Foxglove as well as Frank’s Library. The new speakeasy lounge is set to open at new signature cocktails, created with inspiration from all over the world, namely the Savor Truffle (oolong tea infused gin mixed with honey water and cream cheese foam), The Catch of Tea (Teeling small-batch whiskey, Tieguanyin tea syrup, citrus acid, chocolate bitters), Gummibär (Osmanthus-infused Tanqueray gin, goji liquor, lemon juice and Angostura bitters), and Iryūjon (Four Fox sake, St. Germain, ginger syrup, yuzu juice, Angostura bitters and egg white)

Aside from Tsui’s travel diary-inspired cocktails, Frank’s Library’s barrel-aged cocktails are also available in both single and sharing servings. Reservations are available online at
