Chef Que Vinh Dang returns to Hong Kong's food scene with his first Vietnamese concept

After a successful run at TBLS and Quest by Que, Vietnam-born chef Que Vinh Dang returns to the Hong Kong food scene with Nhau, his first Vietnamese concept, located in Sheung Wan. Que is set to infuse creativity into the cuisine from his heritage, presented through a contemporary bar and restaurant concept.

Que trained with esteemed chefs such as Rocco DiSpirito and Geoffrey Zakarian, and took a 2.5 year hiatus from professional cooking after leaving his previous establishments and before opening Nhau. Now, the chef is back full time, exploring the possibilities of Vietnamese cooking beyond the conventional pho and banh mi. Guests can anticipate sharing plates that are great with wine, cocktails, and beer, with signatures such as bo la lot tartare, a beef tartare dressed with betel leaf pesto and served alongside fried beef tendon, as well as banh mi rice tacos and 40N fish sauce dry-aged grass-fed striploin, where the steak is marinated briefly with 40N fish sauce, then dried for 72 hours before grilling.  Nhau opens Tuesdays to Sundays for dinner.
