The acclaimed bar brings creative Mexican cocktails and treats to Hong Kong this November

After the successful Duck & Waffle pop-up last month, Ozone of Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong is inviting Paris’ Candelaria to stage in Hong Kong for a five-day collaboration. Guests can indulge in the celebrated cocktail bar’s signature Mexican tacos and creative drinks created by the visiting bar manager Ivan Avellaneda.

From November 16 to 20, guests attending the pop-up event will enter Ozone through an unmarked entrance and secret doorway that leads to the pop-up bar, set up with a white counter where guests can view the action of chefs as well as a stylish bar counter on the other side of the private space designed specially for the event 

Candelaria’s experimental cocktails will be prepared by the esteemed bar manager Ivan Avellaneda, visiting and stationed at Ozone during the promotional period. Avellaneda will be presenting a selection of six creative cocktails, including the bar’s bestsellers such as:

- La Guepe Verte (spice-infused tequila blanco with cucumber, coriander, lime, and agave syrup)
- Al Son de Labatanga (Mezcal, tequila blanco, Amaro Montegro, lime, and Italian chinotto soda)
- Amor & Deudas (tequila blanco, aperol, crème de menthe, lemon, pineapple, jalapeno syrup and coconut sugar)

Guests can also indulge in a selection of Mexican treats including tostadas, guacamole, salsa, and tacos, created by Ozone’s chef de cuisine Rafael Gil based on Candelaria’s original recipes.

The Candelaria pop-up bar at Ozone runs from November 16 to 20 from 6pm until late.
