Pazta Brings Al Fresco Italian Dining To Tai Kwun This December
Opening this December, Pazta is the latest eatery to open in the historic setting of Tai Kwun. Serving delights from across Italy––including provinces such as Venice, Bologna, Rome, and Sardinia––the new opening will offer a menu of crowd-pleasing options, bite-size pizzette and over 10 types of pasta, to antipasti, seafood and tempting desserts.
Found in the heart of Central, at Hong Kong’s transformed former Central Police Station, the idyllic setting lends itself perfectly for al fresco dining. Intending to bring a taste of Italy’s famed piazzas to the city, Pazta promises to be a casual and vibrant location for brunch, lunch, dinner and drinks.
“Our aim with Pazta is to share some of the vibrant lifestyle for which Italy is famous. Besides the authentic food which is all flown in from our suppliers in Italy, we also hope to bring some of the art, culture and fashion of Italy to life here over time,” state the founders of Pazta.
Menu highlights are set to include Pappardelle al Cinghiale e Olive Nere, egg pasta ribbons with slow-cooked wild boar; Tris di Fiori di Zucca, battered stuffed zucchini flowers; and espresso tiramisu. Along with serving a la carte options, the new opening will serve both set lunch and dinner menus––with a daily happy hour and an "Aperitivo Tuesday Treat" sure to tempt in those looking to make the most of the cooler winter weather.
