Pirata Group To Debut Its New Restaurant With A Pop-Up Dinner Event

The restaurant group is offering a sneak preview of Meats, its latest opening this year

After the successful launch of Tokyolima and Pici, The Pirata Group is opening its third restaurant this year. Set to open this October in Soho, Meats is set to offer sharing style meat courses in a casual setting. The restaurant group will begin presenting sneak peeks in the form of pop-up dinners at their Wan Chai restaurant The Optimist.

From September 10 to 14 and 17 to 21, guests can get a first taste of the new restaurant’s signature dishes, designed and prepared by the new establishment’s executive chef Paddy McDermott. The Meats pop-up will present a set sharing menu featuring dishes such as: 

-  Chicken croquettes with roast garlic mayonnaise
-  Bone marrow with anchovy butter and tarragon breadcrumbs
-  Iberian presa with black garlic and miso butter and Sichuan crackling
-  Lamb chops with coffee rub and Kentucky barbecue sauce
- Coconut lime pie
