The follow-up to the group’s punk rock-sushi eatery TMK will showcase sushi in themed dining rooms

After announcing the opening of TMK, a punk rock-themed temaki sushi eatery, Pirata Group is launching another sushi restaurant named Honjo. Also set in Sheung Wan district neighboring Okra Bar and Uwe, the new sushi restaurant will be the second Japanese establishment under the group, which also owns The Optimist, Tokyolima, and multiple locations of Pici.

The contemporary Japanese restaurant is designed by Ben McCarthy of Charlie & Rose, where vibrant colours go hand-in-hand with a retro futuristic vibe, through hanging light fixtures and greenery are featured throughout the space. Guests can enjoy sushi with a choice of venue between a series of themed dining rooms and a sushi counter.

Aside from sushi and sashimi, the new restaurant also serves an extensive menu of modern Japanese offerings from tempura to hot dishes. Honjo is set to open late July, 2019.
