The exclusive collections supported by the finest winemakers and greatest artists come to life for a very special anniversary

Founded by Arthur de Villepin and Thibault PontallierPont des Arts works with a philosophy of bridging the gap between art and wine, East and West, and this year in particular, France and China.

In 1964, French President Charles de Gaulle and the Chairman of the People’s Republic of China Mao Zedong initiated an official relationship between France and China. In the same year, artist Zao Wou-Ki was one of the first Chinese to become a French citizen.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of these historic moments, Pont des Arts has released three limited edition collections of wines and spirits from the finest regions in France featuring artwork by Zao. Firstly, an “Anniversary Complete Collection” case featuring fifteen bottles will be available, as well as an eight bottle “Anniversary Collection” case, limited to 50 and 250 editions respectively. Lastly, the 50-year-old “Beyond Life” Armagnac “Anniversary” case will be available in up to 500 editions with each wooden case uniquely tailor-made for the 50th anniversary occasion.

Each bottle in these exclusive collections will feature beautiful paintings by Zao, creating an innovative and collectible bridge between wine and art. These new and exclusive 50th anniversary collections will launch on April 29th in the presence of Arnaud Barthélémy, Consul-General of France in Hong Kong and Macau, at the French Residence in Hong Kong.
