Roganic's new food and beverage series will include a stellar line-up of guest bartenders from COA, DarkSide, The Diplomat, and The Old Man
Roganic Hong Kong by Simon Rogan is hosting Craft & Spirit, a new food and beverage series that pairs creatively-designed cocktails by award-winning mixologists with modern British delights by executive chef Oli Marlow and head chef Ash Salmon.
The campaign will showcase the union of seasonal Michelin-starred cuisine ("craft") and exquisite cocktails ("spirit")––offering a delectable journey into the world of Hong Kong's leading culinary artists, and true masters of their crafts.
Kicking off on October 9, the first Craft & Spirit guest bartender will be John Nugent, co-founder and head mixologist of the local bar, The Diplomat. This will be followed by a session on October 22 with Arkadiusz Rybak, director of bars at Rosewood Hong Kong, who is best known for his award-winning cocktail list at DarkSide.
The saga continues on November 5 with Jay Khan of tequila and mezcal specialist bar COA, which was awarded the number three rank on this year's list of Asia's 50 Best Bars 2020. Finishing the series on November 18 is Agung Prabowo from the legendary The Old Man, which holds the crown of the best bar in Asia in Asia's 50 Best Bars 2019, and presently ranks second in the same list for 2020.
Each guest bartender will take over the Roganic bar for a night only where they will showcase one non-alcoholic and two alcoholic cocktails that will be available for order a la carte. Each of the cocktails will be priced at HK$120 with 10% service charge. The cocktails are designed to perfectly complement the seasonal dishes and menu at Roganic.
