The Japanese restaurant at Hotel Okura Macau celebrates the annual Obon Festival this summer

As part of a celebration to honour ancestors who have passed, Japan’s Obon festival takes place every summer during the months of July and August, reuniting families with dancing performances. This season, Yamazato is launching a unique Seiryou kaiseki dinner set menu to show the appreciation for the sacrifice of ancestors. The festive celebration set dinner includes dishes such as three kinds of seasonal sashimi; grilled conger pike with sweet potato and vinegared ginger; cold shabu-shabu of wagyu beef with sesame sauce and ponzu; simmered aubergine and cutlass fish and green pepper; and rice with edamame. The dinner set menu is complete with seasonal fruits and kohaku-tou with matcha.

The exclusive Seiryou kaiseki dinner menu is priced at MOP 1,580 per person, available from now until September 11, 2019.
