Announced earlier this week, New York’s Shake Shack has confirmed its plan to open in Hong Kong and Macau. Setting a tentative opening for 2018, the American burger brand is collaborating with local restaurant group Maxim’s in its expansion in Hong Kong, Macau and, eventually, China.

Celebrated for its American classics such as Angus beef burgers, Vienna beef hot dogs, frozen custard and milkshakes, Shake Shack is set to open 14 locations in Hong Kong and Macau combined.

Premiering in Hong Kong next year, the menu will showcase classics such as the favourite shackburger, shack-cago dog, crinkle-cut fries, frozen custard ice cream, and a collection of craft beers and wines available for burger lovers.
