Indulge in InterContinental Grand Stanford’s brand new afternoon tea set this summer featuring delectable savouries and classic pastries with an Italian twist

This summer, Intercontinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong is launching brand new afternoon tea sets this summer, available at the Tea Terrace of Cafe on M and at Lobby Lounge. The tea set is specially crafted by Cedric De Lima a Sousa, the hotel’s executive pastry chef. Guests can sample savouries and sweet pastries made with seasonal Italian produce.

The new tea set features an array of savoury items, such as Parma ham, mozzarella and basil ciabatta; bresaola and pepperonata crostini with tapenade; smoked chicken, sundried tomatoes and herb mayonnaise in white bread; egg and arugula salad; tomato bread; smoked salmon with Parmesan cream cheese; and green olive tartlet.

The pastry team has also crafted a collection of sweet treats such as Piedmont financier with praline cream, Sicilian pistachio cream and cherry confit choux pastry, mascarpone vanilla cream éclair, Sicilian lemon olive oil madeleines, as well as tiramisu cake, and raspberry rose panna cotta. The afternoon tea set includes Amalfi lemon and raisin scones, served alongside Cornish clotted cream and strawberry rose preserves. Guests will also be gifted a complimentary mini set of Bianco Di Carrara skin products from Salvatore Ferragamo as a memento of the afternoon tea experience. The new summer afternoon tea is available daily from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and is priced at HK$488 for two, including coffee or tea.
