Two of Hong Kong’s coolest local brands are collaborating for a three-day pop-up

Hong Kong is slowly revving up again, with new restaurants on the horizon and creative collaborations dotting the event calendar once more. One of the most exciting ones coming up is the joint effort between Sunday’s Grocery and Interval Coffee Bar, happening from May 22 onwards. The Japanese provisions brand, run by the team behind Yardbird and Ronin, is one of Hong Kong’s top providers of craft spirits and highly covetable merch. They will be taking over the kitchen at Josh and Caleb Ng’s Central cafe and wine bar as well as transforming their ground floor event space, Preset, into a bottle shop selling spirits and sake.

What to expect from the three-day kitchen takeover? Sunday’s Grocery’s signature sandos and fried chicken will be available all day, paired with a special cocktail and wine menu. After the kitchen takeover, Interval will serve a selected wine menu from the collaboration with Sunday’s Grocery as well as signature dishes.

The Preset bottle shop curated by Sunday’s Grocery will be operating from May 22 to May 30, 2020—perfect for picking up a bottle of sake, whisky, wine or other spirits at wholesale prices.
