Inspired by the early colourful blossoms of early summer, The Lounge and Bar of Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong is presenting a summer meadow afternoon tea in collaboration with St. Germain, the French elderflower liqueur, in a crossover that fuses limited-edition tea treats together with a selection of elderflower floral cocktails. From June 22 to September 13, guests at the lounge of the luxury property can indulge in a fine selection of treats such as foie gras sandwich with mushroom, raspberry and St. Germain duxelles; and coconut passion fruit and St. Germain verrine, among others. As part of the summer afternoon tea, guests can enrich their experience with two custom-designed cocktails. The Summer Meadow adds a tropical touch of dried pineapple and lychee to a mix of St. Germain and Ungava gin, while Berry Elixir is a sweet concoction featuring sake, strawberry puree, St. Germain and champagne, lightened with herbaceous shiso. The Summer Meadow Afternoon Tea at The Lounge & Bar of Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong is available now until September 13, priced at HK$418 per person and HK$698 for two. St. Germain-inspired cocktails are priced at HK$95 each. Guests ordering the limited edition afternoon tea set can enjoy a special discount price for a St. Germain gift box which includes a bottle of the floral liqueur and a one-litre carafe.

Indulge in an herbaceous summer spa-inspired treat at Sheraton Hong Kong, as the Tsim Sha Tsui hotel is collaborates with beauty house Thann in an afternoon tea collaboration set to whet the appetite and soothe the soul. From now until July 31, the Summer Eden Breeze champagne afternoon tea showcases treats crafted by Andy Yeung, the hotel’s executive pastry chef and Oscar Chow, the hotel’s chef de cuisine, highlighting elements inspired by Thann’s Eden Breeze collection. Notable afternoon tea treats include spiced rice paper rolls and crispy foie gras tart, together with citrus-themed sweet delights such as yuzu meringue tarts; sudachi bonbons; and Uji matcha opera cake. The indulgent afternoon tea set, complete with free-flow English scones and complimentary upgrade to a glass of Perrier-Jouet champagne, is priced at HK$338 per person. The afternoon tea set also includes a trial set of Thann’s Eden Breeze collection, as well as a 30% spa voucher. Guests can also opt for a change of venue to enjoy the afternoon tea at Sky Lounge with a 25% discount throughout the month of June.

Conrad Hong Kong is collaborating with Chantecaille in presenting a brand-new The Wild Beauty afternoon tea set, aiming to pay homage to the beauty of the wilderness and the habitat where wild animals reside in Africa. From now until end of August, chef Claudio Rossi is creating an array of ‘wild confections’ such as elephant-shaped buttery shortbread, accompanied by black sesame macaron with leopard print, followed by fruit-0based desserts such as ruby peach and lavender cream gateau; strawberry and lemon napoleon; and peach melba cup with vanilla cream, alongside a selection of savoury seafood morsels on offer. The afternoon tea is complete with TeaWG brews and Lavazza coffee, or peach frizzante iced tea and vodka-laced peach spritz cocktails. Guests ordering the Wild Beauty afternoon tea set will receive a complimentary Wild Beauty Deluxe Skincare set from Chantecaille, together with a Chantecaille HK$100 certificate, as well as a treat certificate with a trial privilege. The Garden Lounge at The Murray Hong Kong is home to the hotel’s new botanical afternoon tea, available from now until end of June 2020. The new afternoon tea set is inspired by edible flowers, greens, and refreshing range of fresh flavours. The afternoon tea treats include botanical gin-cured salmon; lobster salad with mango and turmeric; minted pea tartlet with mimolette cheese. The tea set also showcases refreshing sweets such as lemongrass pineapple verrine; lavender cream cheese cake; and a collection of plain and raisin scones and cookies. The summer botanical afternoon tea is priced at HK$640 for two.

Tiffin Lounge at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong is home to a new afternoon tea set, showcasing a wide range of treats designed and crafted by the hotel’s executive pastry chef Smita Gosse. Highlights of the popular afternoon tea set includes prawn and lobster choux with saffron cream; homemade foie gras terrine with apricot; as well as sweet cakes such as elderflower summer berry cheesecake and mango oolong tea tart. The afternoon tea set is complete with plain and earl grey tea scones, served with apricot jam, lemon curd and clotted cream. Tiffin’s summer afternoon tea set is available throughout the summer months, and is priced at HK$298 per person from Wednesday to Friday, and HK$328 per person on Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays.

French patisserie and bistro Dalloyau is launching a brand new afternoon tea set celebrating the seasonal abundance of Fukuoka, Japan. From now until August 31, guests can experience French tea specialties featuring Fukuoka’s best. The new tea set begins with French-inspired delicacies such as smoked salmon tart; duck foie gras sandwich; and prawn, mango and tomato tart. The afternoon tea set also highlights sweet pastries featuring Fukuoka ingredients, such as tofu matcha choux; apple turnover with Japanese miso; and Fukuoka strawberry macaron. The Fukuoka specialties afternoon tea is priced at HK$268 per person, available at Dalloyau branches in Central, Pacific Place, and Tsim Sha Tsui.

This summer, Woobar at W Hong Kong is launching a Fuel Up and Detox afternoon tea set. Inspired by various Asian cuisines and featuring nibbles prepared with Asian ingredients, the menu includes notable treats such as beetroot crostini with octopus salad, crispy yam and saikyo miso dressing; ginseng chicken soup jelly with pickled black fungus and goji berries and Vietnamese fresh spring roll with drunken sweet shrimp, romaine, jalapeno, shiso leaves and lotus chips. The afternoon tea also includes sweet delights such as butterfly pea flower agar jelly; roselle sesame cake as well as yam and strawberry tart. The afternoon tea experience is complete with a choice of three east-meets-west cocktails such as Chrysanthemum Passion, Ginseng Zen, and Chen Pi Elixir. This summer, Café Gray Deluxe at The Upper House is collaborating with local sweets brand Cookie DPT in a rare afternoon tea crossover. The cookie brand, which currently runs a pop-up kiosk on the 6th floor of the luxury hotel, is offering three limited edition treats for the tea set, including earl ‘gray’ cookie, Sabatino black truffle cheddar biscuit, and mini red velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting. The hotel also showcases delicate pastries such as beef and black garlic choux and yuzu-coconut gateaux and peach verrine to enrich the experience. The Café Gray Deluxe and Cookie DPT afternoon tea is available from now until July 31, and is priced at HK$285 per person and HK$480 for two, complete with a choice of Jing tea and Illy coffee.
