Three new awards were introduced in the 2014 edition of Hong Kong Tatler Best Restaurants, which highlight those at the top of their game
In addition to our annual Top 20 Best Restaurants accolades, we look forward to rewarding the cream of the crop in our Best Of awards. Also introduced in the 2013 edition, the purpose is to highlight trailblazers in the field of food and drink, and includes awards such as Best New Chef, Best New Restaurant, Best Pastry Chef, and more.
This year, we added three new awards: Best New Restaurant (Readers’ Choice), Best Wine List (as chosen by our wine editor James Suckling), and Best No-Reservations Restaurant. The first paid tribute to the readers of Hong Kong Tatler who, throughout a two-week voting process online, crowned the winner from a seven-strong shortlist.
Throughout the next week, we’ll be featuring each of these winners on Hong Kong Tatler Dining and the runners-up so you can find out more about why each of them have received top honours.
