Tai Kwun’s restaurant features new dishes that celebrate the mastery of knife-carving

Celebrating the art of fine knife cutting techniques in Chinese cuisine, widely known as ‘dao yi’ (knife art) The Chinese Library is launching an array of dishes that highlights the artful discipline. From now until September 30, guests can indulge in aesthetically pleasing signatures such as marinated geoduck and jade flower in sesame oil dressing; crystal melon dumpling with kung fu teapot chicken consomme; as well as sweetened double-boiled bird’s nest with honeydew and winter melon, served with three homemade syrups. The ‘dao yi’ menu is available from now until end of September 2019.
