The new Italian restaurant’s brunch offerings showcase the best seasonal produce from Italy

Following the launch of its lunch and dinner a la carte menus, Theo Mistral by Theo Randall at the InterContinental Grand Stanford is presenting a new Sunday brunch menu that reflects the British chef’s simple and contemporary execution of Italian fare, meticulously prepared with the country’s finest seasonal produce.

The Italian restaurant has launched a new seasonal brunch menu named La Dolce Vita, featuring a seasonality-driven brunch selection that focuses on diverse flavours derived from fresh Italian produce. This is encapsulated in the spread featured on Theo’s antipasti table, where fresh minestrone and baked focaccia bread are displayed alongside Italian antipasti and salads. The seafood bar displays a wide selection of freshly shucked oysters, Boston lobsters, poached prawns, mussels, crab legs, sea whelks, and a variety of seafood salads.

Guests can also indulge in a choice of pasta from two varieties under ‘A Taste from Theo’, including some of the chef’s signatures such as cappelletti di vitello (cappelletti pasta with slow-cooked veal and pancetta) and ravioli d’erbette (mixed green ravioli with Swiss chard and rocket leaves), as well as a selection of main dishes, notably including 24-hour marinated roasted pork loin slow-cooked with Parma ham and fontina cheese, pan-fried cod with capers, parsley and porcini mushroom sauce, and baked salmon served with Datterini tomatoes, olives, and sesame seeds.

The La Dolce Vita Sunday brunch finishes with chef Randall’s selection of signature desserts, from Amalfi lemon tart to chocolate cake and tiramisu. Children of guests can enjoy a fun afternoon pastime at the restaurant’s designated kids’ playing area under close supervision by trained staff. Kids can also enjoy the restaurant’s Italian favourites such as pizza Margherita and penne with Datterini tomato sauce.

The La Dolce Vita Sunday Brunch is priced at HK$588 per adult and HK$338 per child between ages four and 11, while children under four years of age can enjoy brunch for free. Adults can opt for a free-flow package of bellinis, Bottega prosecco, or house wines for an additional HK$138 per person, or an unlimited refill of sofa drinks and fresh orange juice for an additional HK$68 per person.
