Ritz-Carlton’s Chinese restaurant is presenting a new degustation menu featuring the label’s celebrated vintages

Highly-regarded for its vine varieties and gifted terroir, Angélus was recognized as Grand Cru classe in the classification of Saint-Emilion wines in 1954. From now until September 30, 2017, chef Paul Lau of Tin Lung Heen is honouring the beloved chateau with a new limited edition degustation menu at the hotel’s iconic Cantonese restaurant. The special menu showcases the establishment’s popular signatures such as pan-fried beef fillet with black pepper and matsutake mushroom, set to pair with the label’s two popular wines: the 2008 No.3 d’Angelus, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru and 2012 Le Carillon d’Angelus, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru. The six-course dinner menu is priced at HK$1,888 per guest. For an additional HK$1,000 guests can enjoy champagne, white wine, and selected Chateau Angelus red wines pairing, and for HK$688 guests can enjoy an exclusive upgrade to a glass of 2014 Chateau Angelus 1er Grand Cru Classe A, Saint-Emilion.
