Aqua Group’s British restaurant at Tai Kwun launches a four-course brunch menu featuring a carvery roast with trimmings

This winter, Aqua Group’s new British restaurant Statement at Tai Kwun is launching a brand new weekend brunch menu. Guests can begin the Britannia brunch with artisanal charcuterie with pickles and sourdough bread, as well as a seafood starter feast of Irish oysters, Norwegian smoked salmon, Cornish prawns, mussels and clams with roe mayonnaise and shallot vinegar. As part of the British tradition, Statement is presenting a carvery roast of British beef sirloin, accompanied by trimmings such as roasted potatoes, buttered heritage carrots, and a golden Yorkshire pudding. Guests can also select from a range of main dishes such as roasted corn-fed pork shoulder with mustard and paprika, or beer-battered white cod, triple-cooked chips and black-and-white garlic mayonnaise or roasted cauliflower with capers and raisins.

The four-course brunch experience is complete with a choice of sumptuous desserts such as sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce and clotted cream, sea-salt butterscotch ice cream and lemon verbena plums, or chocolate orange mousse and medium-cut orange marmalade. Statement’s Britannia brunch is available on weekends with free-flowing champagne and sommelier’s choice of wines. The brunch is priced at HK$588 per person.
