Tong Chong Street Market Returns Featuring Blue Bottle Coffee's First Pop-Up In Hong Kong

The return of Tong Chong Street Market this November will feature an exciting coffee and culinary line-up, including Blue Bottle Coffee, Knockbox Coffee Company and more

After another successful run last year, the annual Tong Chong Street Market returns for 2020 this November. Presented by Taikoo Place, Tong Chong Street Market the go-to place for gourmet street food and its return is highly anticipated. This year, the most sought-after coffee makers and culinary talents are invited to introduce the latest food trends and to amplify the dialogue between culinary-loving individuals.

There will be two themes in this season's market: a coffee festival in November and December 2020; and organic, sustainable delights in January and February 2021 (Tatler Dining and Swire's Great Farm Feast will also return during this time!). Jumpstarting the coffee festival this year, Tong Chong Street Market will take market-goers on an aromatic journey from breakfast until lunch with the city's most popular coffee vendors.

Featured in this year's line-up is Blue Bottle Coffee, the well-loved coffee brand from California, who will be presenting their first-ever pop-up in Hong Kong. They will be offering coffee, waffles and limited edition merchandise items. A Blue Coffee caravan will also be there to serve as a backdrop for Instagrammable coffee snaps.

Market guests will also be able to get their coffee fix at the Knockbox Coffee Company food truck, or have a taste of their exclusive "Autumn Breeze" coffee mocktail––a creamy espresso on top of non-alcoholic gin and tonic water.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong coffee brand, Even0 Coffee Company will be delighting with their Italian and ice drop coffee. Ehonia, a local restaurant will also be there to provide freshly-made canapés.

If you need more coffee choices, All About Coffee will collaborate with four local baristas from Favilla Café, Urban Coffee Roaster, Café Revol and Mandy Mok. They will also offer coffee recycled products and coffee bean gift sets. Winstons Coffee will also bring exclusive organic cold brew to the market place.

The experience wouldn't be complete with delectable food and snacks. Kala Toast and TEEMTONEfai will be whipping up the rainbow cheese toast––just the thing to up your Instagram game, together with the #COVIDiot gelato.

Chez Ba, a Vietnamese bistro originating from Paris will be serving authentic Vietnamese dishes while Cats' Eye Bistro will be offering the demi-glace burger and omelettes with two exclusive menus for the market. If you're in the mood for burgers, Nomad Burger will be making mouth-watering burgers to order.

Finally, for packaged food stalls, BeanCurious offers single-origin and rare speciality coffees, all freshly roasted in Hong Kong by award-winning roasters.
