Central’s art-and-dining establishment showcases new photography exhibition that inspires fresh, seasonal offerings

Celebrated for its contemporary approach to Cantonese cuisine in Central, Tycoon Tann is introducing a new photography exhibit by photographer Vivian Wong at the three-storey restaurant, and a set of new dishes inspired by Wong’s photos.

The Cantonese restaurant is presenting “Azure”, part one of Vivian Wong’s photo exhibit titled ‘Mood For Love’. The debut of the photo series bring snapshots taken in Maldives, capturing an abundance of the colour blue, symbolising calmness and reflection of one’s happiness and optimism. This collection of new photos are also inspiration to chef Chun-Pui Ng’s new summer creations at Tycoon Tann, notably including:

- Organic German white asparagus served with Parma ham soup
- Chilled stem lettuce with preserved plum
- Smoked poached egg with caviar
- Braised summer squash with sea cucumber and millet

The establishment’s new creations are best paired with a cocktail created by Mod Bar’s bar  manager Kenny Yuen. Named after the photo exhibit, Azure, the cocktail is intriguingly blue, made with homemade pineapple ginger rum, Lillet Blanc, lime juice, coconut water and candy floss

New summer dishes are available now at Tycoon Tann, and Vivian Wong’s “Azure” exhibit runs from now until September 30.
