The all-day dining establishment at the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong collaborates with the acclaimed chocolate brand to present two colour-themed sets for the festive season

With Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day both in February, there are two occasions to celebrate the joy of togetherness, be that the unity of lovers or of families gathering. In preparation, Café 103 of Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong will be launching a month of chocolate-themed afternoon tea sets with renowned chocolate brand Valrhona. Throughout the month, guests can anticipate an array of sweet and savoury treats, which is presented in a red colour theme from February 1 to 12, and in pink from February 13-29.

Highly regarded as the premium chocolate maker in France, the Valrhona brand has produced unique blends of chocolate since 1922, with rich aromatic profiles and rare cocoa beans. Richard Long, executive pastry chef of Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong, is instilling the brand’s unique craftsmanship through skillful application of the brand’s product into his pastry creations. Notable signature items from the month’s afternoon tea set include:

- Manjari passion bar

- Ivoire lemon tart

- Infiniment rose macaron

- Chocolate scones

The Valrhona chocolate afternoon tea set will be served through the month of February, daily from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. The tea set is priced at HK$378 per person and HK$608 for two from Monday to Friday and HK$398 for one and HK$628 for two on Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays. On February 13 and 14, the month’s special signature afternoon tea set is priced at HK$698 for two.
