The Maison's triple-threat launch party had whisky lovers manoeuvring through three Hong Kong venues

 

The exclusive debut of The Macallan's latest 12-years-old single malt creation took things to the next level, with a progressive celebration leading revellers through three of Hong Kong's hottest nightlife venues: Lily & Bloom, Levels, and Bungalow. 

The multi-pronged event format was apt, considering that The Macallan Double Cask is a story of three continents, and of two worlds melding into one. New oak for caks were brought from America to Spain, where they were sherry seasoned before being transported to Speyside in Scotland to mature for 12 years. The whiskies were then blended with those aged in top-notch sherry seasoned European oak casks—a complex marriage that speaks of The Macallan's dedication to using time to perfect their product.
