Hotel Okura Macau’s Japanese fine dining establishment showcases seasonal Kaiseki menu with sake pairing

This summer, Yamazato of Hotel Okura Macau is collaborating with Japan’s Miyasaka Brewing Company Limited to present a sake pairing menu this June. Founded in 1662 in Nagano Prefecture, Miyasaka benefits from the region’s pristine climate and pure water quality, reflected in its sakes that earned the brewery’s fine reputation over the years. During the promotional period, chef Akira Hayashi, executive chef at Yamazato is presenting a special menu for lunch and dinner, with an option for sake pairing. The Masumi Kaiseki set lunch menu features unique dishes such as wasabi marinated in masumi sake lees, grilled salmon with Shinshu miso, and deep fried white shrimp and sweet corn. The dinner menu adds sobagaki with duck stock and fruit tomato from Shikoku on the special showcase as well. Sake pairing options are available featuring prized bottles from the esteemed brewery, including Karakuchi Kiippon Sake, Nanago Sake, and Miyasaka Miyama. The kaiseki lunch set is priced at MOP 580 per person (MOP 700 with sake pairing), and dinner is priced at MOP 1,380 per person (MOP 1,600 with sake pairing).
