The Japanese restaurant of Hotel Okura Macau launches festive offerings inspired by an ancient love story

Inspired by an ancient Chinese love story from two thousand years ago about a princess and a cowherd, who meet once a year of on the seventh day of the seventh month in the lunar calendar, Tanabata became a traditional Japanese festival, where locals would write their wishes on colourful strips of tanzaku papers and hang them on bamboo branches for making wishes and for decorative purposes. Celebrating the Tanabata festival, Yamazato of Hotel Okura Macau is launching an exclusive Tanabata gozen set lunch menu which includes appetiser, seafood chirashi sushi, simmered winter melon with seawedd, soba noodles with deep fried tofu and desserts. The festive lunch menu is priced at MOP 388 per person, available from June 18 to July 7, 2019.
