The acclaimed French masterchef’s bistro is set to open in Central this May

The rumours of Yannick Alleno’s Hong Kong restaurant floated for more than two years, but the wait is finally over. The critically acclaimed chef is set to open Terroir Parisien, his casual-dining bistro concept in Central this summer.

Born and raised in the suburbs of Paris, Yannick Alleno grew up in the kitchens of family-run bistros. With high awareness of French terroir and strong emphasis on both the country’s seasonal produce and the producers who bring them to life, Alleno’s focus on France’s cuisine is exemplified in the opening of his first Terroir Parisien bistro in 2012, and a second branch in the subsequent year.

Similar to its sister establishments in France, Asia’s first Terroir Parisien is set to open in Central this May where guests can enjoy bistro signatures such as:

- Parisian mushroom and snails patties
- Lamb stew
- Spring vegetables in a casserole
- ‘Naterre’ brioche French toast with vanilla ice cream
