It was a meeting of two David's at the VIP Preview for David Beckham: The Man. Followed by a dinner that was hosted by auctioneers, Phillips, and David Tang in his newly opened restaurant, Howard's Gourmet. Original signed photographs, and newly commissioned works, ahead of the auction in support of ‘7: The David Beckham UNICEF Fund’ and ‘Positive View Foundation’, were displayed on the walls and David Beckham mingled with the crowd throughout the evening. The honoured guests of the evening were also welcomed by David Tang and Damien Whitmore, Chief Creative Officer of Phillips. The exhibition opens at Phillips in London from February 27, 2016 up to the auction on March 10, 2016. Guests included Peter Lam, Michelle Ong-Cheung, Betty Kadoorie and Michael Kadoorie.
