Coinciding with International Woman’s Day, Alisan Fine Arts and the Hong Kong Adventist Hospital Foundation partnered to present the HOPE exhibition, a group exhibition celebrating the work of 11 contemporary Chinese women artists. Among the artists featured are Chinese-American artist Chinyee along with innovative Chinese ink masters Irene Chou and Fang Zhaoling. Friends of Daphne King-Yao and Jo Soo-Tang gathered for an intimate cocktail party to toast the opening of the exhibition, where both Daphne and Jo made a brief welcoming address. A portion of the funds raised will directly benefit the HKAHF, a charity dedicated to helping Hong Kong’s disadvantaged and those in need of medical treatment.
