Art collectors flocked to Alisan Fine Arts in Central for the opening of a charity exhibition in aid of the Asian Cultural Council

Art lovers, collectors and patrons recently flocked to Alisan Fine Arts' Central gallery for the opening of a charity exhibition in aid of the Asian Cultural Council (ACC), a non-profit organisation that supports cultural exchange programmes around Asia and between Asia and the US. Hosting the event were Daphne King-Yao, director of Alisan Fine Arts, and Hans Michael Jebsen, chairman of the ACC in Hong Kong, and two of the artists featured in the show, Wucius Wong and Ho Siu-kee. Both Wong and Ho received ACC grants to travel to the US early in their careers—Wong in 1971 and Ho in 2000—and described the experience as crucial to their artistic development. If you'd like to see—or buy—any of the works, the exhibition runs until February 29.
