For the fourth consecutive year, BMW is the title sponspor of the Hong Kong Derby which was held at the  Sha Tin Racecourse. The competition for four-year-old thoroughbreds has a long and rich tradition, and is the final of a series of races for four-year-old thoroughbred horses in Hong Kong. Guests included Jimmy Tang, Matthew Lam, Lianne Lam and Alice Chiu.
