Over 450 pieces of jewellery with a combined value of HK$1.6 billion was on display as part of the unveiling of an exhibition that showcased Cartier’s Coloratura collection of high jewellery at the Rosewood Hong Kong. The name of the collection, Coloratura, is inspired by the Italian word signifying a highly elaborate virtuoso style in music, in turn, derived from the Latin word meaning 'to colour’. To toast the collections unveiling, Cartier’s North Asia regional managing director, Nigel Luk, hosted two gala dinners with Hong Kong’s movers and shakers including the likes of Charles Ho, Pansy Ho, and Adrian Cheng.
