Fawaz Gruosi, the founder and creative director of luxury Swiss jeweller De Grisogono, hosted a private dinner for a number of VIPs at Pierre in the Mandarin Oriental to celebrate the launch of The Art of De Grisogono, a pop-up exhibition at the hotel showcasing some of the brand’s finest jewellery and timepieces. A high point of the evening was the unveiling by Gruosi of The Art of DeGrisogono Creation 1—a high jewellery necklace featuring a 163.41-carat diamond of flawless clarity that is to go under the hammer at a Christie’s auction in Geneva in November.
