Family and friends of André Fu gathered at Lane Crawford in Pacific Place for a cocktail reception that celebrated the global debut of André Fu Living for Lane Crawford. Although André established his eponymous line of homeware in 2016, the collection for Lane Crawford is comprised of 150 different pieces, and showcases André’s modernist sensibilities and his distinctive ability to bring a sense of calm to interior spaces. During the cocktail reception, André explained the rationale of his collection, “the essence of hospitality revolves around the creation of experiences, so when people host guests at their homes, I hope the pieces contribute to their experience and act as a backdrop to a celebratory moment or simply integrate into people’s everyday lives,” he said, “to me, true luxury is in the experience and not just the aesthetics.”
