Eleanor Wong and Ronnie Cheng were the recipients of the inaugural Changing Young Lives Foundation (CYLF) Civic Leadership Award in recognition for their efforts and contributions to aiding underprivileged children in Hong Kong. The CYLF introduced the award in hopes of engaging more people to collaborate with children’s causes—especially at a time when youth suicide rates in Hong Kong are at an all time high. This year, the CYLF hosted it’s Festival of Trees luncheon at The Conrad and it was co-chaired by Jane Chao-Lee, Yvette Ho and Angie Ting. All of the proceeds raised from the luncheon will benefit the CYLF’s “Art to Heart Expressive Arts Therapy Program,” which has proven to be popular since its introduction in 2015, helping over 250-at risk students across 30 schools in Hong Kong.
