The dancing is always a highlight of the Pink Ball each year—and this year was no different. Karen Chuang stole the show with her charity dance performance that was met with a standing ovation at this year’s Pink Ball, which celebrated its 10th anniversary. Held at the Grand Hyatt, this year the Hong Kong Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry raised over HK$6 million, which will go towards providing free genetic screening and consultations for underprivileged families at risk of breast, ovarian and prostate cancer. It’s chairman, Ava Kwong, welcomed guests with an update on the registry’s progress to date and highlighted its success stories. Also taking place during the evening was a silent auction and a raffle.
