Giuseppe Zanotti knows how to light up a room. On Wednesday, during a rainy Hong Kong afternoon, the Italian fashion house partnered with The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong to host a glittering tea session at the hotel’s Café 103, which brought together a well-heeled group of society girls like Feiping Chang, Christine Fok and Yen Kuok. The tea set was inspired by Giuseppe’s rock-glam Urban Beauty Collection, and guests were treated to colourful plates of foie gras macaroons, pistachio moscato tarts and apricot cakes. Even more impressive, the sweets were surrounded by a rotation of bedazzled butterflies and flower petals that would make Mariah Carey proud. Of course, the room was adorned with glimmering heels from Giuseppe Zanotti’s FW2019 collection, which guests like Stephnie Shek and Victoria Chan tried on Cinderella-style.
