Carrie Lam was the guest of honour at the annual Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra fundraising gala dinner, which was held at Government House. In her speech, Lam spoke of the government’s commitment to supporting the city’s cultural sector as the evening sought to raise funds in support of the Hong Kong Philharmonic’s long-term development plan as well as its range of outreach and educational programs. A high point of the evening was the musical performances from the Philharmonic’s First Associate Concertmaster, Leung Kin-fung, and the M.int Academy Guitar Quintet.
