It was an evening of champagne tastes and caviar dreams at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, where Krug fêted the launch of its two new Les Créations de 2006 bubblies. Wesley Ng, Veronica Lam and Antonia Da Cruz were a few of the notable attendees toasting champagne flutes that magically never emptied. Bevvies were paired with a parade of canapés including parmesan scallops, oysters and foie gras tartare created by the hotel’s Executive Chef Robin Zavou, and local harmonica prodigy CY Leo performed a soothing playlist inspired by the new champagnes to set the mood.
