“Timeless Classics” is the theme of the 2020 Le French May arts festival, which was announced at a preview cocktail reception at Junon. So it was only appropriate, then, that members of some of the city’s most storied families, including Michelle Ma, Mignonne Cheng and Michelle Ong, came out to show their support. Alexandre Giorgini, consul general of France in Hong Kong and Macau, and festival chairman Andrew Yuen welcomed guests to the intimate soirée, where they enjoyed Gallic canapés such as croque monsieur, baguettes and raspberry meringues—and champagne, of course—as Andrew introduced the various events featured in the coming festival, its 28th iteration.
