Organised by the Association Culturelle France in Hong Kong and sponsored by the Mega Events Fund and the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, Lumiere Hong Kong aims to illumuniate Hong Kong’s iconic landmarks with an array of multi-discipline installation projects that will be accompanied with performances, audio effects and audience interaction. The festival is set to make its debut from November 18 to 20, 2016 and is inspired by the Fête des Lumières (The Festival of Lights) held in Lyon, France. Peter Lam, Andrew Yuen and Mignonne Cheng were just a few of the guests present at the preview cocktail party.
