All funds raised on the night will benefit the contemporary art centre's range of outreach programs. The evening's theme was Cantopop—evident from the vintage cassette tapes that took the place of table cards, while face masks of Cantopop stars such as Aaron Kwok, Jacky Cheung, Sandy Lam and Leon Lai were assigned to each guest, adding a touch of fun to the night, as the masks also doubled as paddles during the live auction. The auction included 88 artworks donated from artists around the world, including Chinese contemporary artist Yang Jiechang, American painter Sarah Morris, and the late American artist Terry Adkins.
