Sean Lee-Davies, the founder of pop-up art gallery and virtual reality (VR) production house Awthentic Gallery and Studio, hosted Hong Kong’s first VR art jam party to coincide with Art Basel in Hong Kong. Guests jumped at the chance to create their own VR artworks, but the evening’s highlight came when Italian contemporary artist Mauro Bergonzoli, wearing a VR headset and flourishing virtual paintbrushes, created a virtual artwork that the guests watch taking form on a large screen.
