In a collaboration with Christian Louboutin timed to come to fruition for Art Basel in Hong Kong, Australian artist CJ Hendry, known for her richly detailed artworks of household objects and luxury goods, produced a collection of 40 works focused on different colours. The works sold out within seven minutes of going on sale to the public. Christian Louboutin hosted an exclusive cocktail to celebrate the opening of the exhibition titled “Complimentary Colours,” at the Anita Chan Lai-ling Gallery in the Fringe Club. Hendry created special “show crayons” for the party, and guests were able to scribble and scrawl their own art on the walls of the gallery.
