Ivan Pun invited close friends from around the world to his hometown of Yangon for three days of celebrations to ring in the New Year. Pagoda visits, sightseeing around the city, meals at his restaurant Port Autonomy (Dec 30) and a Burmese marketplace style buffet on the 31st on the lawn of his new restaurant La Carovana were on the packed itinerary.
