Raising close to HK$6 million, guests and supporters of The Hub Hong Kong Children and Youth Centre gathered at the Grand Hyatt for the charity’s annual ball. The evening proved to be a glamorous affair in line with this year's theme of Crazy Rich Asians, which took inspiration from the Hollywood blockbuster. Henry Golding was the guest of honour and he took to the stage for a live question and answer session. Another high point of the evening was a performance by The Hub's children who had prepared a special dance routine. A live auction also took place during the evening, and it proved to be a lively affair, as a walk-on part for the movie's sequel “China Rich Girlfriend,” sparked a bidding-war between Yumi Honda and Loke Khoon Tan. In the end, both were awarded the winning lot.
