Over 300 people gathered in the ballroom of the JW Marriott Hotel for the sixth annual Women of Hope Awards luncheon, which recognises the influential women of Hong Kong who campaign and champion the calls for social justice to benefit women, children and the community at large. This year’s fundraiser proved to be its largest to date, with over HK$5.7 million raised and all proceeds benefitting the Hong Kong Adventist Hospital Foundation’s Cancer Fund, which aids those who are unwell and who do not have access or the financial means to immediate treatment.
