Back for its second edition, the awards by ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove Singapore and Tatler Gen.T recognises individuals who are helping to protect and conserve Southeast Asia’s coastal and marine ecosystems

Last year, ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove Singapore launched the Blue Water EduFest, a first-of-its-kind festival in the region to advocate awareness about the importance of protecting our coastal and marine environments.

Its mission, according to Arthur Tay Chairman and CEO of SUTL Group of Companies which owns the marina, is to garner support and advance the “Blue Water movement” across Southeast Asia through collaborations with governments and industry partners in the region.

The Blue Water EduFest aims to bring together conservationists, environmental experts and key stakeholders, all united by a shared purpose: to protect our oceans and chart out a plan for the future of our planet.

This year, the Blue Water EduFest will take place from November 2 to 4, 2023. One of the highlights is the Blue Water Heroes Awards, which recognises environmental champions protecting the waters of Southeast Asia and the communities that rely on them.

Celebrating local heroes

Fabien Cousteau, oceanographic explorer, environmentalist and event partner for Blue Water EduFest, once said: “During challenging times and when impassioned to act, human beings are capable of miracles.”

Powered by Tatler Gen.T, the Blue Water Heroes Awards aims to support inspiring individuals who have dedicated their careers and lives to fighting for change.

On November 3, three winners will be announced in an awards ceremony held at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove Singapore.
