We revealed the 50 Indonesia honourees on the Gen.T List 2019 at an official unveiling event in Jakarta

On July 2, we revealed the 50 Indonesia honourees on the Gen.T List 2019 at an unveiling event at Pelataran Ramayana Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, Jakarta.

The evening began with a private dinner for the 2019 honourees and Tatler Tribe members—a panel of industry heavyweights Gen.T consults to aid in the selection of the list. Tribe members at the dinner included Nicko Widjaja; president director and CEO of Indonesia's largest corporate venture capital fund, MDI Ventures; Fify Manan, CEO of Rifyo Indonesia and Formcase Group; and Renitasari Adrian, programme director of Bakti Budaya Djarum Foundation.

Tamara Lamunière, head of Generation T Asia, introduced the inaugural Gen.T Asia Summit, a leadership festival powered by Generation T that's taking place in Hong Kong this November. Hengky Prasetyo, the head of Pansophia Nusantara Foundation, a charity that teaches children in Indonesia the importance of positive character building, also announced the organisation's upcoming CSR partnership with Gen.T this year.

Previous Gen.T honourees and the wider community joined for the afterparty, where we unveiled the Gen.T 2019 List for the first time.

At the event we spoke to 2019 honourees Alamanda Shantika Santoso, founder and president director of Binar Academy, and Gita Sjahrir, co-founder of Ride Jakarta, about the power of community. Tribe member Nicko Widjaja spoke of his hopes for this generation. Watch the video to see what they had to say.
