The eldest son of Robert Ng, and deputy chairman of property conglomerate Sino Group, Daryl is active in the development scene. Work aside, it’s his charity deeds and commitment to corporate social responsibility that sets him apart. With a passion for conserving heritage buildings, he was instrumental in the establishment of the Heritage Conservation Foundation in 2008. The Foundation won the tender in 2012 to convert the Grade II historic building Old Tai O Police Station into Tai O Heritage Hotel, a stylish destination. His other social projects include the Go Code programme and innovations like the in-building hydro power system and city air purification system. More likely to be found behind his desk than out and about on the social scene, Daryl is showing true commitment to worthy causes.
