With more than a decade of experience in the fashion industry as one of Hong Kong’s leading stylists, Denise has worked with numerous tatler_celebrities, and styled iconic fashion campaigns and editorials for a range of publications. It’s her endeavours to change the world she found herself in, however, that have really caught our eye. First up, she co-founded childrenswear label A for Apple with Jeffrey Chau in 2010, with her niece Briar Ku (daughter of Jaime and Benedict) acting as one of its models. Recently she shifted focus to launch Knotti, a brand that has sustainability at its core. With rising concern about textile waste in the city, Denise conceived the brand specifically to address this issue. The garments are handwoven by talented home knitters from various communities around Hong Kong, so it’s a win-win endeavour that’s changing the fashion world.
